the most important tool of all

i started collecting wood for my workbench over a year ago. it was just a hope at first. it took almost six months to find enough wood to begin. there might be one truly nice piece in a whole bundle, and then again, i just might spend an hour sorting through 48 4x6's for nothing. of course, it wasn't for nothing. this bench should outlive me, at least it better, i can't imagine i'll have the energy to build another when i'm an old man. i built it using mostly hand tools, exhausting work, but worth every drop of sweat.
